The strategic plan for the ACAA consists of the following high-level outcomes and key objectives: 

Child & Youth

  • support and advocate for child welfare reform in Alberta; 

  • support addressing and reducing suicide rates in Alberta; and 

  • provide relevant child and youth resources, tools, and referrals.

Housing & Homelessness

  • provide advocacy and rights based information and training;

  • collaborate with First Nations, Metis and Inuit organizations to address housing and homelessness issues; 

  • provide relevant housing and homelessness resources tools and referrals.

Health & Well-Being 

  • provide and collect evidence-based outcomes focused on health and wellness; 

  • lead diversity and inclusion training; 

  • provide relevant health and wellness resources, tools and referrals. 



Emergency COVID-19 Funding

Apply now! Through funding support from the  Congress of Aboriginal Peoples (CAP), ACAA is able to provide individuals and families support in addressing some of the financial impacts experienced as a result of COVID-19. Funding is limited.
